Contest participation:
This contest is open to all residents of Canada and the United States of legal age in their respective countries.
To participate in the contest, participants must go to the contest site: http://www.canadel.ca, in the “Show Us Your Dining Set” section, download an image of their set and fill out the online form. No purchase is required.
The contest opens on August 10, 2009 (01-08-2009).
The contest ends on July 25, 2010 (25-07-2010).
The winner will be announced on August 1, 2010 (01-08-2010).
Entry form submittal:
Entry forms must be submitted online, in the “Show Us Your Dining Set” section of the http://www.canadel.ca Web site.
Contest participation deadline:
All entries must be submitted by midnight on July 25, 2010.
Selecting the winner:
The winner will be drawn from all of the duly completed entry forms.
Number, detailed description and value of the prizes:
The average value of a winning dining set will be given in the form of credit in the client’s name at a specified retailer where the purchase was made. If the winner participated in alternative mode, the average value of a dining set will be given in the form of credit in the client’s name at a retailer near the client’s residence. The retailer will be identified at our convenience once the winner’s name has been drawn.
For example, the average value of a dining set (including a table and six chairs) is between $2,000 and $4,000.
Prizes may differ in value based on the context:
Credit for the value of the purchase must be used in full in the year after the winner is announced.
Location, date and time the winner’s name will be announced:
In Louiseville, Quebec. The winner will be announced on the company’s Web site on August 1, 2010 at noon, Eastern Standard Time.
Media used to notify the winner:
The http://www.canadel.ca Web site on August 1, 2010. A media event will also be organized to announce the winner to the general public.
Prize claiming location and deadline:
Depending on the case, the credit must be used within a year from the date the winner is announced, by August 1, 2011.
Selection of the winner:
The winner will be selected by means of a random drawing, which will take place at Canadel’s head office in Louiseville.
Eligibility:
This contest is open to all residents of Canada and the United States of legal age in their respective countries, with the exception of Meuble Canadel representatives, employees, retailers and agents.
Legal terms:
Disputes regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any dispute regarding the awarding of prizes may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of attempting to reach an agreement. The Régie’s role is to help the parties do so.
Claiming the prize:
The winner’s identity shall be checked before he/she may claim the prize.
